I’m going to be putting the finishing touches on my first D&D adventure over the Holidays! I took part in the Fall RPG Writer Workshop (https://www.rpgwriterworkshop.com) and it was fantastic, I highly recommend it for anyone whos is interested in getting started with writing in the TTRPG space. I wanted to give everyone a sneak peak at the cover, and also the overview. I’m so excited!
20 years ago, an adult white dragon, Bryindauch (bree-in-dock), the Frigid Ruin, was destroyed in a harrowing battle by a group of foolhardy Adventurers. Worshippers of Tiamat have since dedicated themselves to the resurrection of this dragon and have been gifted a ritual by the Queen of Dragons herself to reanimate the frozen beast as a dracolich.
The cultists have spent the last 15 years amassing a following and finding ancient relics and components to be used in the ritual. Normally, a Dracolitch is created from a living dragon, but the ritual they have been gifted is a two part ritual. The first part returns the dragon’s soul to the material plane and binds it to a phylactery while the second part reanimates his body, binding the phylactery to it and reanimating the Frigid Ruin…
